Lune Group Ltd was established in 2005 and focuses on manufacturing and marketing products for women and female hygiene. Menstrual cup, an easy-to-use, safe and affordable menstrual protection is sold in Finland in pharmacies and department stores. Since the establishment of the company, distributors' web stores have been serving customers effectively and been an important distributing route both domestically and in abroad. The fast-growing company started exporting in 2005. Since then Lune Group has expanded its distributing network to different European countries. In June 2007 co-operation started with Phoenix Pharmahandel AG&Co making the Lunette cups available for German and Austrian consumers. Since March 2008 Lunette has been sold in Slovenian pharmacies. In 2008 Lunette products are sold in Finland, Australia, Belgium, South-Africa, Spain, Italy, Great Britain, France, Romania, Sweden, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech republic, Hungary, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. In 2009 Lunette menstrual cup was certified by FDA (US Food & Drug Administration) and TGA (Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration).

Lune Group Ltd's ownership is fully in Finnish hands. The products have been awarded with the Key Flag sign as a proof of the Finnish quality. Lune Group Ltd values Finnish manufacturing, trustworthyness and environmental friendliness.
